| Before breeding, all our boys and girls are cleared by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to be free of hip and elbow dysplasia. Eyes are checked annually by an Opthamologist veterinarian and cleared of any hereditary problems. | |

Meet Jackson. We donated him to Guide Dogs of the Desert when he was just a baby. They were so pleased with his temperament and his trainability that they decided to use him as a stud. We are very proud of him. Also, a chocolate female, Allendale's Desert Guide Mia, has passed her puppy training and is now doing official guide dog training. Way to go, Mia! This is most rewarding of all... |

At 7 weeks, our puppies are temperament tested. This test is used by the Guide Schools and has proven to be very accurate in determining the temperament of individual puppies. The test determines dominance, social attraction, retrieving and touch/sound/sight sensitivity.
